Graham Norton Reveals Taylor Swift’s Request for Talk Show Appearance
According to Graham Norton, Taylor Swift really is “sweet like honey.” The talk show host revealed in a July 12 interview with British GQ that the ‘Fate of Ophelia’ singer’s appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ in October of 2025 was a “very last minute booking.” As a result, Norton and his team thought that one of the other episode’s guests—Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Domhnall Gleeson and Lewis Capaldi—would have to be rescheduled for another day. However, the Grammy winner stepped in immediately and insisted that no one be “bumped.” In another show of good faith, each of Swift’s fellow guests also made cameo appearances in the music video for her song, ‘Opalite.’ The 36-year-old’s appearance on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ was just two months after she announced her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs star, Travis Kelce—and in the episode, Swift explained to Graham her inclusive mantra for who would be getting invites to her wedding
Instead of replacing anyone, the show featured its full lineup, including Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Domhnall Gleeson, and musical guest Lewis Capaldi, alongside Swift. Norton later noted that all of those guests—and he himself—ended up appearing in one of Swift’s music videos, making it a memorable episode.
